초록: Two most important achievements of Nambu (2008 Nobel Physics
Prize) are introduction of the color SU(3) and the idea of
spontaneous symmetry breaking. The two ideas started today's
standard model. I will explain these two conceepts. Talk is
aimed at general physics audience at the first year graduate
level.
