Abstract:

In this talk, I shall discuss the connection between quantum interference correction to conductivity and the charge of monopoles in momentum space in 3D topological semimetals. In particular, I shall argue that the parity of monopole charges determines the sign of quantum correction, where (odd) even parity yields
weak (anti)localization correction respectively. I will also discuss the magnetoresistence in Weyl semimetals and double-Weyl semimetals.Title: Novel quantum transport in Weyl semimetals and double-Weyl semimetals
