Abstract: Observed density profiles of DM halos can provide interesting implications on DM microphysics. For example, the self-interacting DM (SIDM) framework is enjoying an exciting era since both the prediction of SIDM on density profiles of DM halos and the observations on DM-dominated galaxies are quickly improving. In this seminar, I will briefly review some aspects about gravitationally probing DM microphysics from observations on DM halos, and my personal thoughts on a way to proceed in this direction.
