5. 초록: Two dimensional spin systems with S=1/2 Heisenberg spins on a square lattice will
be introduced. Possible ground states arising from different types and strengths of
interaction will be discussed. Starting from examples of simple unfrustrated square
lattices, frustrated antiferromagnetic as well as ferromagnetic square lattice systems
will be presented. In particular, results of our experimental investigation on some
interesting vanadium oxides and phosphates will be discussed in detail.
