제목: Reshaping Micro/Nanophotonics by Programmable Soft-Matter

초록:
T he implementation of reconfigurable/programmable soft-matter including
graphene, DNA, and polymer into micro/nanophotonics has been a relatively
unusual strategy in the relevant field. However, such programmable soft-matter
can actually allow us to open up compelling research opportunities for
revolutionizing a light-matter interaction in a way which would be impossible to
achieve with other material platforms. In this talk, I’ll briefly touch some general
strategies for unnatural light-matter interaction (i.e., plasmonic squeezing the light
beyond the diffraction limit and metamolecules/metamaterials for negative
refraction at a visible frequency) especially by using two different programmable
soft-matters: (i) photofluidic polymer and (ii) 3D DNA origami.
