제목: Magneto-electric response of multiferroic chiral magnets

초록: In this talk, I will introduce the spin model describing multiferroic chiral magnets, which has the merit being both simple in mathematical form and relevant to real materials. The discussion of the response of various magnetic phases to the external electric field is organised in two parts. The first part shows the electric-field induced Skyrmion motion, which is based on solving the Landau-Lifshitz equation. The second part gives explicit calculation of the thermodynamic response coefficient, i.e., the magneto-electric susceptibility, which is based on Monte Carlo simulation and Ginzburg-Landau analysis.
