아래와 같이 콜로퀴움을 개최하오니 많이 참석해 주시기 바랍니다. 아 래 1. 제목: 'Brain dynamics underlying human decision-making' 2. 연사: 정 재 승 교수(KAIST) 3. 일시: 2006년 10월 27일(금요일) 오후 4시 30분 4. 장소: 물리학과 세미나실(31355호실) 5. 초록: Human daily life is full of decision-making and choice behavior. Decision-making refers to the process of selecting and executing actions, forming preferences, and evaluating outcomes. Standard economic theories perceive humans as a rational decision-makers in relentless pursuit of maximizing their rewards under given conditions. However, decision-making process is constantly influenced by emotion, intuitions, preferences, prejudice as well. Using nonlinear dynamics, game theory, and information theory, we investigate the brain dynamics underlying decision-making based on EEG and fMRI imaging dataset. In this seminar, physics-approach to human decision-making is introduced.
