제목: Magnetic Resonance Imaging: What is relevant to physics

초록: Magnetic resonance imaging is widely used for clinical diagnosis and scientific research.  SKKU hosted the IBS “Center for Neuroscience Imaging Research” focused on magnetic resonance imaging and systems neuroscience research, which will have four research-dedicated MR systems, 9.4-T and 15.2-T animal MR, and 3-T and 7-T human MR. We will have multiple MR physics faculty members for developing novel hardware and software.  I will introduce basics of MR and examples of MR research.  Then, I will discuss the relevance of MR research to physicists.
