Title: From model to real material via a first-principles density functional theory plus many-body approaches
Abstract: The development of novel numerical approaches for physical understanding of strongly correlated electronic systems, where the subtle interplay between kinetic energy and electronic correlation are present, is one of the challenging research topics in theoretical condensed matter community. In the talk, I would like to present how to combine a first-principles density functional theory into many-body approaches like (cluster)-dynamical mean field theory tool and discuss about a variety of results obtained from models to real materials.
