It is illustrated by an overall picture of the use of these detectors in different domains such as: nuclear physics, inertial fusion, medical and industrial applications. A particular description will be devoted to these three topics. The first one concerns the compact detector named "Piccolo- Micromegas". This detector, capable of measuring a neutron flux in a broad range of neutron energy, is developed for the measurements of the in-core neutrons flux of future generations of nuclear reactors. The second one based on the new Micro-bulk concept is developed for the monitoring of neutron beam. And the third one concerns the new development of 2D detector for neutron beam characterization.
