Title: GEANT4 Particle Physics Simulation Software: A Brief Overview From a User’s Perspective

 

○ Abstract: GEANT4 is a well accepted and supported high energy particle physics detector simulation software. A basic introduction to the software from a user’s perspective is presented, focusing on program installation, flow, and user interventions, with examples of its use for the ISS-CREAM and CREST astrophysics experiments. Some practical examples are reviewed. At completion, a prospective user should be able to start programming with GEANT4.
