     4. 제목: Studies of the magnetic penetration depth in superconductivity and metastable magnetic materials by magnetic force microscopy

 

     5. 초록: Room-temperature scanning probe microscopy (RT-SPM) is widely used to study electronic and magnetic properties at the sub-micron scale in basic and applied science. By analogy with RT-SPM, low-temperature SPM (LT-SPM) such as magnetic force microscopy (MFM) is a key tool to investigate phase transitions at low temperature, such as ferromagnetism and superconductivity. In this talk, I will present MFM studies of superconductivity including its application and of unconventional magnetic materials with magnetic metastable states. Recently, we developed a novel technique to measure the absolute value of the magnetic penetration depth in superconductors by magnetic force microscopy (MFM). This technique has been applied to unconventional superconductors, such as borocarbides and pnictides, to investigate superconducting properties. Also, direct visualization of the interaction between magnetism and superconductivity will be present in an unconventional ferromagnet-superconductor hybrid.
