아래와 같이 콜로퀴움을 개최하오니 많이 참석해 주시기 바랍니다. 4시부터 2층 라운지세미나실에 다과를 준비하오니 많은 참석 부탁드립니다 아 래 1. 제 목 : Introduction to Superconducting Quantum Electronics 2. 연 사 : 정 연 욱 박사(한국표준과학연구원 양자응용SI랩) 3. 일 시 : 2007년 4월 6일(금요일) 오후 4:30 4. 장 소 : 물리학과 세미나실(31355호실) 5. 초 록 : Although we tend to think quantum mechanics is something that is happening in an atomic, or at least in a microscopic scale, it is not always true. The word “quantum electronics” is now widely used for the technology of realizing solid-state electronic devices which directly utilize the quantum mechanical nature. Superconductivity, as well as its well-known property of zero-resistance, is a phenomenon that shows quantum coherence in a macroscopic scale. In this short talk, I will give an introduction of quantum electronics using superconducting devices, which includes Josephson voltage standard, SQUID, superconducting digital circuits and quantum computing research activities. Also, research activities in KRISS are briefly reviewed for students.
