5. Abstract:
New forms of the hadronic system beyond the conventional qqbar and qqq configurations have long been searched for many years to deepen our understanding of quantum chromodynamics in low-energy and non-perturbative regimes. J-PARC has opened opportunities to explore various exotic hadrons using its world-class high-intensity K/pi beams. A series of new hadron physics program are currently underway with a large-acceptance Hyperon Spectrometer comprising a 1-T superconducting magnet and a GEM time projection chamber (HypTPC). This presentation will provide an overview of the ongoing experiments with particular emphasis on the search for a light pentaquark.
